  Chris is currently (March 2015) caring for one of our dogs (eight month old Rocket) after he suffered a cracked vertebra. This was difficult to diagnose at first, and it is only as the initial crack grew that Chris was able to explain Rocket's 'strange behaviour' (he fell over after lots of exercise, and could not walk in a straight line). Once the diagnosis was in, Chris did the surgery. Carefully and professionally. He is looking after Rocket at the surgery, to the point of taking him back to Chris's home overnight so he doesn't want for human companionship. My wife and I have been encouraged to visit, and felt that Rocket has absolutely the best care available.

  I truly can't recommend this vet highly enough. The vets and support staff are knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They take the time to explain treatments and procedures, making sure you are fully informed before making any decisions. The vet nurses go above and beyond to make sure your pets feel happy and at ease, you can rest assured your animals will be in the very best care here. I'm so relieved to have found them and won't take my beloved pets anywhere else now!

  The vet is very knowledgeable and open to alternative, but science proven vetinary practices (like blood titering instead of vaccinations).

  We have seen Chris since he arrived at the Wanniassa Vet Clinic. He is amazing! He really cares for the animals.

  We have owned a few pomeranians, some of which have had long-term, difficult-to-treat conditions (such as a thyroid problem that required fine balancing of medications). Chris spends the time, and gets to know both pet and owner. He tells us what is happening with our pets in plain language, and what we need to do for them.

  Finally, the clinic is completely up to date with all the tools and equipment necessary to care for our pets. Chris does surgery himself, including a lot of complex work (such as fixing a broken back!), and is clearly skilled in it and in the use of his equipment.

  I cannot recommend this place, and its vet, highly enough. He talks to our animals, and they feel safe in his care.
